Here is my newest quilter, my granddaughter again. She loves my featherweight and she has been doing a fine job. She also loves to dig through my fabrics, glad someone else appreciates them besides me.
Here is my project for the "Sew In" night. I had a couple of packets of charms which I had forgotten about and just did my simple "X" pattern that I like to do. This is what they start out looking like.
This is the top before quilting, that probably won't be accomplished for a while but I do like the colors of this quilt. I had enough for a pillow too.

Very nice quilt! What a great way to use charm squares. I may adopt the idea for some of mine. Thanks!
I love the quilt! The border fabric is gorgeous!
Hi Diana,
What a cute little companion you had to share your Friday with. And a very pretty pillow came out of it too. Saw the little quilty she had made... I'm sure there's lots of fun times ahead for both of you quilters.
PS. Is cabin fever starting to affect you yet? My hand is frantically waving in answer to that here.
Hi Diana,
Aren't granddaughters the best!
I love when my 9 year old comes to play. She to loves my featherweight. Keeps wanting to take it home.
Our quilt will be at the Tallman House this summer for sure. When I get more information I'll let you know.At our March guild meeting they will be handing out the tickets.
Love your X quilt, especially the border color. Where do you live in WI?
Hugs, Karen
